"Bakery Cafe was delicious!!! Service was terrific. Wait staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was wonderful to see everyone working on something (not just standing around on thier phones or gabbing. Very attentive to the customers. If I lived in Aransas Pass this would be my go to place!!!!!! I would try everything on the menu. Big cudos and Thank You to All staff!!!!!!"

"Got the special for the day and everything came out pretty quickly, our server was great. Soup was to thick for me but the family loved it, my pork chop and sides were great tho with the pudding they give at the end."

"Both the exterior and interior of the reasturant is in need of updating. However, with the state of the economy and cost of materials, it is understandable why it has not been done. Apparently, they are very busy, at least that is my assessment based on the crowd. The floors were in need of cleaning. The food was fantastic. The chicken in my salad was one of the most flavorful chicken I have tasted. I bet the rest of the food is amazing. Definitely stop by and enjoy the food!"

"I seriously don't know what took me so long to finally dine at the Bakery Cafe in Aransas Pass. This place was established in 1929!!! Our waitress was so nice and they seem to have plenty of workers! The place is very well kept! We went old school. We started off with an order of basic nachos...refried beans with melted cheese on top of light crispy corn tortillas and an order of beer battered onion rings!! Both were delicious! The onion rings were full of flavor, light, crunchy and sweet. Mom ordered herself a simple bowl of delicious chili and I ordered a Homemade cheeseburger with fries! Everything met our expectations! Been a long time since I've enjoyed a true original homemade cheeseburger! Slice of apple pie for later!"
