"Terminated my daughter from treatment due to 3 missed appointments EXCEPT that she called days beforehand to reschedule each appointment because of last minute work issues. She left voice messages each time. No one answered the telephone. No one called her back. EVER. Then, they send her termination from care letter to her mother’s address and issues. Her mother’s violent. behavior and addictions are WHY my daughter was even in treatment. Staff won’t let us speak with Dr. Conrad, won’t give us his email, won’t give us his telephone number and told me that he will not call my daughter to discuss this matter. They won’t even let her schedule as a new patient to restart her treatment. Pathetic and disgusting. If you care for your loved one, DO NOT go to this place."

"I am a former patient of Dr, Micheal Conrad and have been for over seven years. I have shared the most intimate details of my life with him. I was diagnosed with a terrible mental illness schizophrenia....This illness almost cost me my life and lucky for me I found help from a hospital up north after many attempts to stop the nightmare of my disorder. Dr. Conrad took over my medication management and counseled me on a monthly basis. I am disabled and to top it off I had a terrible car accident. I was having difficulty getting to Dr. Conrads office and he knew of my accident. I missed a couple of appointments and paid the $50.00 fee. On one occasion I was using the restroom and he noted the time and demanded that my friend tell me to get into his office and did so. He was furious and told me that it wasn't acceptable to be late or miss an appointment and I left. I received a letter stating that he felt he was unable to establish a patient/doctor relationship with me and would not be treating me any longer. He was my doctor for 7 years and all of a sudden he wasn't comfortable with me........surely he was comfortable as he rushed me out of the restroom. The timing that he choose to drop me as a patient was at a time in my life of extreme stress and he knew it. I was in danger of getting sick again under that sort of stress.What a caring Dr. to put me under such distress and anguish at that time. I was a fool for entertaining him with the details of my illness and felt like a fool. I called his office to get my records to find another Dr. and he refuses to give them to me. I was told that I must pay for a visit and sit in an office of a doctor who felt he couldn't have a relationship with me and pay for records that contain information that is very personal to me. I would have to pay him more money to get what every other person has no trouble getting. I will not pay a man who has put me in such a dangerous state that I could easily become very ill again. To this day...he refuses to give up my records and I am not going to sit and look at a man who I trusted ....knowing his issue was time and money not my best interest. I think that others who may be suffering from an illness such as mine should know what this Dr. does to a sick patients. He is a danger to people who could potentially become a danger to themselves or others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
