"Dr. Romeo is a great man. My experience with his facility has never disappointed me. Thanks Doc!"
"My injuries have been highly neglected by this impersonator of a doctor who absolutely has no empathy for patients in pain with serious health issues. I was in a wreck, according to Dr Romeo, I had (too) many problems! My issues, according to him were a result from myself getting old! I was told, “there just bumps and bruises, you’ll be fine in a few days “. He’s a combative doctor! Ready to send you back to work!!! I had to beg and beg and beg for medical help; he finally referred me to have a MRI. I found out I have bulging disc in my neck! Spinal injury. A list of serious injuries as well, smh!! As, a result, I am still trying to get well, losing money and traumatized. Dr Romeo failed to thoroughly examine me and he appeared clueless as to how to diagnose my conditions. I know things would have progressed much faster, had I seen my own doctor! I would be much better by now. He needs to go!!!"
"Dr. Romeo has the worst bedside manner of any dr I’ve ever met. I have a herniated disc that is keeping me from standing up straight. Bad nerve pain and he said I had a muscle spasm. I had to give him a 1 star review on the Alabama comp google to even get him to send me for an mri and he still said that had nothing to do with my pain. I went to a neurologist and he confirmed all my pain is from the herniated disc. Dr. Romeo on the other had tried to make me out to not know what I was talking about or about any of my pain that I AM HAVING. He is clueless on pain and how to properly help people. I have talked to roughly 10 people that have had the same exact experience that I had. One of them being a office of the law. And he told her the exact same thing as me. This man should not be practicing medicine when he literally gets confrontational with patients in pain."
"Update: I've now met 3 other people who have had to go to Dr. Romeo and we all have horror stories. All of them being stories of his incompetence and negligence. I went and saw a second doctor and gave him the MRI Dr. Romeo had ordered. These doctors and nurses were floored. The MRI was unreadable and somehow Romeo thought he had figured everything out from an unreadable MRI. He miss 4 MAJOR spinal and back ailments including a birth defect. Don't do it to yourself. How he still is practicing is unreal to me. Please if you're a female avoid this doctor at all cost. My physical therapy was today and was reschedule for two days later, Wednesday morning. My PT's receptionist said it's best not to do PT during the beginning of your cycle because you can't really gauge progress. I was two days overdue on my prescription and called to pick up a refill. Was first told I was lying and wasn't due for a refill. After my pharmacy, shocked by my doctors behavior, faxed over a copy of my last prescription and told him it was overdue I was told I was still lying about my dosage, which was clearly stated on the prescription he personally handed me. He had written it for one more, 3, pain pills a day because in his words I needed to "stay ahead of my pain and not wait until it is unbearable." He has absolutely no recollection of this conversation according to him yet my local amazing pharmacy does and remembers me asking them to explain the best route on "staying ahead of my pain" since Dr. Romeo didn't. Best part is I actually made them last longer than my script was for because I knew the weekend coming up I wouldn't be able to pick up a refill. After being told I was lying, he never wrote my, having my pharmacy correct him and fax his prescription I was still treated terribly. I was told that if with severe female issues that come with the first day of cycle I can come in and pick up a piece of paper, I can do an hour of physical therapy. I was hung up on. Told Dr. Romeo never wrore the script for me, which when written included a long conversation and discussions of previous ortho doctors I had seen. My rehabilitation is in the hands of a man who doesn't grasp how servere a woman's monthly cycle can be, even though my PT does and this goes beyond medication and to doctor patient relationship and treatment. I was hung up on by his staff, belittled, told I was lying, disrespected when I showed him and his staff he was absolutely wrong and told to deal with it. It isn't the medication, I suffered months in pain before I saw him, some days barely able to move and vomitting from pain. It was the treatment I received by him and his staff, his statement that picking up a piece of paper is equivalent to an hour of physical therapy when I'm not really in the best spot to do so and just a competent doctor showing decency to those who's well-being are in his hands. It's really revolting he has no grasp of what some women deal with every month and then punish them for it. Then after being able to show him he was wrong his staff and he himself treated me even worse. I was floored and can't imagine how anyone could trust him to have their well being in his best interest. Please please don't let yourself be treated how I was. I've spoken with my lawyer and he is absolutely stunned a doctor could behave in such a way. Just do yourself a favor and find another doctor who cares because this isn't him."
"Just a mill, enter wrong information on patient files, have no clue what d.o.t regulations are, place is literally the worst/biggest joke, with possibly the mill western express runs, order extra and needless tests just to line thier pockets. I'd highly suggest going anywhere but this place. Romero has no idea what a handheld bmi machine is...tech that's just been out since the 1980's and is much more accurate then the bs height weight charts. This doc recorded that I'm 2 inches shorter then what I am, and 10 lbs heavier, just to put me through some bs sleep study to make some extra loot."
