"I'm a regular donor so I've been there many times. Usually everything is well organized and efficient, while also ensuring the comfort of the donors. On this visit, a few small things were not done as well as usual. I've communicated my issues with them and they promised to address them."
"Try to find a different location or go with a mobile drive. I went to give blood, got hooked up to the machine and the machine breaks so THEY schedule me for early the next week. I take work off again go in and then they tell me that it’s too soon even though previously they suggested this day. The phlebotomist was great but the lack of knowledge of their own process and regard for calendars leaves much to be desired."
"I don't understand what's happening at the San Diego Blood Bank, but I've been trying to schedule an appointment for almost 3 weeks and it goes straight to voice mail, and MAYBE someone attempts to call me between in the evening when I am not available. It would be nice to be able to talk to someone during normal business hours. they provide no email or alternative number. This is the worst service I have ever seen."
"The parking is horrible. The lines are too narrow to allow a small sized car door to open wide enough for an adult to get out. I watched multiple people squeeze out of their cars. Just because the city says you can stripe a lot with narrow parking stalls doesn't mean you have to. Mostly middle aged people and older come here why make it inconvenient to park and get out of your car."
"What an awesome staff and group of professionals and volunteers. I have always donated in the blood mobile and this experience was pretty cool. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Festive decorations."
