He spends time with you and explains your condition, till you have a full understanding of what you’re dealing with and how he recommends treating it. "I’m not a patient however the person I was with is a patient. His appointment was at 9:30, we arrived at 9:15. He was called back to see the doctor . By 1130 he had still not came out of the doctors office and shortly there after one of the staff came to the waiting room and asked me to come back with them because he was incoherent and his sugar was extremely high. As soon as I saw him I realized his sugar was not high it was low. He was drenched in sweat and I asked if they had checked his sugar and they told me no they had not checked it. I asked them for the doctor, they ignored me. I asked them for a Coke and they brought a bottle of mixed juice. The juice was not reviving him they gave him no glucose they gave him nothing but juice and the doctor did not come in to check him. The staff members did not seem to know how to use his glucose monitor to check his blood. I had to show them how to do that. I ask again for a Coke. I was told they didn’t have a Coke. After asking several times I demanded that they go find a soft drink somewhere. They called the emergency squad even though we were sitting in a doctors office. At last somebody brought him a soft drink and after about three good drinks he started to coming back to life again by that time the squad was there and gave him a little glucose and he was on the mend we finally got to leave the office about 1 o’clock. If I had been the patient my first visit that day would absolutely be my last visit I was very unhappy with the staff and with the time that he was kept waiting before he ever got to lay eyes on the doctor. I was with him when the doctor finally came in and I was not impressed by the doctors attitude who, to me, seem to blame the patient for the problem"

"Today was my first appointment with Dr. Mamish. After reading other reviews I was a little nervous about what to expect but after my appt I can only sum up my experience as a great first impression. The nurse was kind and thorough and Dr. Mamish was nothing shy of wonderful. He explained everything fully, was courteous and had that old school bed side manner we all hope to get from Doctors. He answered all my questions in detail and I left feeling really good about our plan forward. Thank you Dr. Mamish."

"They will not schedule new patient appointments without a referral even if you have a PPO insurance and your insurance does not require a referral to be seen. After numerous attempts to try to get them a referral from my primary care doctor they still did not schedule it because it did not have the actual doctors name on it. After several days of trying to get this situated and figure it out and the two doctors communicating with one another (which Dr. Mamish’s office refused to communicate with my doctors office and clarify what they needed on this referral) I could not get scheduled so I moved along and found a different doctor. If it’s this much of a headache just to get an appointment, I can only imagine what it’s like when you need to actually talk to them and get information."

"I saw this doctor for two years for hyperthyroidism. I slowly got better and came off my medication. A year later I got tested in my school districts health and wellness center (I am a teacher) and they did labs. They found I was hyperthyroid again (very- tsh 0) and they did an ultrasound and I had a goiter. I felt bad and also had trouble swallowing. I called dr mamish’s office and the ladies at the front desk showed him my labs and he told them to schedule me for first available appointment, which was six months away. I said I really didn’t feel good and I had a goiter, and I asked them if he could at least send in my medication to my pharmacy in the meantime. Two days later I got a call from their office indicating that dr mamish recommends I should seek treatment from a different endocrinologist since I was “dissatisfied” with his recommendation. This man should not be in practice anymore…"
