"Obviously smaller than DC but powerful. (Yes, I am.)"
"Qr scan code available to help locate a name on the wall. When looking at wall it will be behind you under small covered shelter."
"A truly special place. This is a smaller version of the wall in Washington. It’s a very heartwarming story from a town embedded in military history! A very touching monument engraved with the history is on the left side of the wall. “Wall South Dedicated on October 24 1992 Built to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in Southeast Asia. The Pensacola Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall “Wall South” is a direct result of the devoted efforts of dedicated veterans notably.” A brief quote from the monument. As you walk you see the names of the men who served. You also see the battle or operations which they took part in on the black engraved tiles. The cobra on top serves as an additional reminder of the birds these guys flew everyday over there. A special place for any veteran or history enthusiast to visit. I would highly encourage anyone to visit. It compares to some monuments in large cities I’ve been too. I’m very impressed by the time the team takes to make sure the wall is well maintained!"
"We toured this scaled-down replica of the DC Vietnam War Memorial on Segways (the two hour “Historic Pensacola Segway Tour”). It was just as stirring as the original. The park surrounding it is beautiful, as well. Definitely worth a visit."
