"Nice trails. Walking is nice in the woods, through the pine tree forests. Trails have plenty of sand and leaves that make a nice, soft walking path. The first part of the trail is over the elevated walkway over the creek. Then, on the other side get to walk on dry land. Trails have paint marks to keep on path. Google maps is nice when not sure where you are. There are plenty of sign maps on the trails. Really enjoyable."
"We drove to this trail twice, not knowing where to park and access it. Went to their website and finally found it (I’ve included that picture in this review). The boardwalk is small and short and it goes on a loop. There are trails off the boardwalk though if you want to go longer. During the day you’ll have to go to the welcome center and ask for a parking pass. Otherwise, you can’t park there without a pass before 4:30pm on weekdays. However, parking is free all day on weekends. The trail is near Lot F and G. Entrance to the trail is to the left of the Crosby Hall (building 10). We didn’t see the alligator on the trail but we did see a lot of fishes at the bottom of the bridge."
"The most beautiful trail over the swampy area at uwf and we got to see this enormous alligator right off the boardwalk. It was so huge I couldn't believe it"
"I absolutely LOVE hiking here! There are lots of different trails, and it's so beautiful!!! :) Safe by myself as well! Update- there is, in fact,a Large Alligator living here! So cool! :)"
"Such a beautiful place to walk and see nature at its best. So peaceful and quiet. Each time you see something different. We are so lucky to have this in the heart of the city. Would recommend bringing a buddy. Trails can be a bit confusing."
