"My recovery room had another woman's hair on the bathroom floor and on my blanket. Also I think there may be mold in there as well. My mom ended up having a coughing fit while she was in the room and is very sensitive to things like that. As my husband and I were leaving we found trash that wasn't ours under the recliner chair."
"I had the worst experience in my life. It never crossed my mind that a hospital would denied care to a pregnant patient just because she "is experiencing flu like symptoms that can be managed at home". I was having flu like symptoms, fever, tachycardia, fatigue. My ob doctor told me if my symptoms gotten any worst to go to the hospital. I decided to go to the ob triage at health park where one of the nurses didn't even let me check in. She said that if I wasn't having contractions or baby was moving I should be able to manage the symptoms at home. She also said that the doctors will always tell you to go to the hospital but that's not always the case. The nurse even had the audacity to tell me that the hospital was not testing for Covid anymore, and I know for a fact that that's not true because I work for lee health. She said that it was something new that they started that day (Wednesday). I know the hospital is not a testing site, but if you need to get tested because of severe symptoms they will test you. All I wanted was for my baby and I to be checked out. They did not even do vital signs, absolutely nothing. It was a horrible experience."
