"I have been a patient for 30 years with Dr. Novoa who always a five star including his staff. His assistant Kelly Brahamm 7 years and she also is a five star! Very nice person."
"I am sure these bad reviews are pointless. You cannot expect a front desk worker to answer questions that your doctors are to answer that’s why you are to be compliant and see the doctor regularly and you wouldn’t have that issue. Sounds very entitled if you ask me. How about being considerate of others time and work ethic that someone showed appreciation in answering the phone because some places don’t answer the phone. You blame the front desk about your waited time and since you feel you can get in elsewhere go do that. Don’t come to the Internet and fabricate a lie because I just came back from Delaware and was able to see Dr. Black with no issue. So to say the front desk is unhelpful I slightly doubt that, perhaps you just didn’t get your way that day and decided to write up some mess. I have been going to Dr. Black for 25 years and this front staff is very efficient, kind and actually go up and beyond to help you. I guess it takes time to get to know that rather than writing a review after not having your way. I will continue to go here as I’ve never experienced anything bad of these reviews. It’s a doctors office for Petes sake, they’re going to be busy, they’re going to be behind, some openings aren’t going to be available and some things aren’t going to go your way. How about for all these inconsiderate bad reviews let’s review your work ethic and see if you like a bad review because your customer is having a not so good day and they write a review just because and see if you all like it. Grow up and act like civilized adults with home training and show more compassion and consideration and understand they are busy and you’re not the only patients in the facility. Some of us have been coming to these doctors for decades not just for the time being of getting in to be seen just because my stomach hurt and I expect something to be done immediately and when I don’t get my way I writes bad review. News flash this is the real world go to the urgent cares or change doctors and you’ll see some experiences aren’t what they seem. Sounds privileged entitled and inconsiderate of some of you."
"don’t expect to get an appointment unless you are scheduling two months advance, even though you’ll probably feel better by then. Black guy and white lady that work inside both very un helpful. wouldn’t recommended since you’ll probably die before finally getting looked at."
"Be careful when selecting Millennium Physicians Group as your PCP. You'll be treated as part of their revenue stream, not as a patient. Issues started happening early on. I came in for my annual physical with Dr. Novoa. Everything was fine, no issues. He said he wanted me to come back in a few months to see him. So I scheduled an appointment before leaving. When I returned three months later the first words out of his mouth were "So what brings you in today?". Uhm, you asked me to come in. I left the office and a month or so later I received an automated phone call and email requesting I schedule an appointment which would be three months from the last time I saw Dr. Novoa. It dawned on me then that they have an automated system that insures a constant stream of patients and in turn a constant flow of revenue. The next thing that happened is I was referred to a Urologist. I saw him for about six months and then he left the network. I contacted Dr. Novoa's office and asked for a new referral to a new Urologist. They gave me the name and number or another Urologist who, when called, told me they weren't accepting patients from my former Urologist. Whatever, emailed Dr. Novoa's office through the AthenaHealth portal explaining the situation and requesting another referral. Never heard back. After that it was radio silence from their office after numerous attempts. Decided at that time to move PCPs. After I moved I sent a request via the AthenaHealth portal to Dr. Novoa's office to transfer my records to my new PCP. Got an email telling me I had a message from their office on the AthenaHealth portal. Logged into AthenaHealth and my access had been shut off. I've had previous medical providers use AthenaHealth as the portal to their practice but never had my access cut off once I left them. I can still access them if I need to. It almost seemed spiteful. How am I supposed to read their message to me if the they've shut off my access? Again, either spiteful or incompetent. Called the office and got someone who's arrogance was beyond measure. I mean once they found that I had moved to a new PCP outside of Millennium the attitude was off the charts. No apology for the confusion or the mistake for taking my access down. No hey, sorry about that here's the options we have. I can email you the form or I'll have a copy of the form waiting for you and you can come by and pick it up. Just attitude. Obviously the individual had never had any training in customer service. What's really sad is the labor market has gotten so bad that this person still has a job. Not a very good client facing experience for Millennium Physician Group and definitely would make me think twice about going back, ever..."
"I see Kelly Banham, NP, and she is the literal BEST. One of the kindest, most compassionate providers I have ever had. She always takes time to ask questions and address any concerns I have. I trust her judgement and have always had an excellent experience with her."
