"First of all, I only write good reviews. After sustaining a comminuted right distal radius fracture, the ER gave me one number to call (a different ortho), they said they’ll perform ORIF in a month (yes, in a month - there would be malunion/nonunion by then!). I then decided to call Eaton Orthopedics & got an appointment in 2 days. Their office at Carillon Parkway is spacious and clean, and has ample parking spaces. Wait time was reasonable (less than 15mins, & entire staff is courteous & empathic. Robert (ortho tech) is on top of everything, making arrangements with orthotic fitting, and helping with FMLA forms. The moment Dr. Carlan stepped into the room, I knew I was in good hands. He is very caring, great bedside manner, soft-spoken, with a warm, comforting smile. He explained the immediacy of my condition, and they scheduled me for surgery the next day!!!! Surgery center is in the same building, and the entire procedure wasn’t a traumatic experience. My incision stitches were removed a week later, and repeat x-ray showed no complications. Currently 3 wks post op, and I’m so glad I found Dr. Carlan and his entire team. What a blessing!!!!"

"I was so impressed with the success of my double carpal tunnel surgery performed by Dr. Carlan. His staff was also amazing and explained everything from beginning to my follow up appointment. Heather, his PA and Robert are very professional. I also want to put a shout out to the outpatient surgery center in Carillon Parkway in Feather Sound. The nurses were friendly and facility was immaculate. Dr. Carlan performed a carpal tunnel surgery along with a trigger finger surgery on my right hand and a carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand. All three surgeries were performed together at the same time. The anesthesiologist only put me under for just a few minutes until they could numb my hands. I woke up minutes later and was awake during the entire surgeries. I had a very pleasant conversation with the nurses and the doctor, during the surgery. The incisions were very small and they have healed nicely. Three days after the surgery, I was allowed to remove the hand wraps, and take a shower. I went back to the gym to Zumba classes within a week, and it’s only been two weeks now since surgery and I am almost back to normal. No cast, needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Carlan, his staff, and the outpatient facility."
