He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of South Florida, followed by earning his medical degree from the Morsani School of Medicine at the same institution. His extensive training includes a chief medical residency at the University of Texas at Houston and a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Khanijow brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as a gastroenterologist in southern New Jersey, where he honed his skills in managing a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. His professional interests include colorectal cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disease, with a particular focus on wireless capsule endoscopy.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Khanijow enjoys traveling, boxing, and indulging in fine dining. He is also a sports enthusiast, often found cheering on the USF Bulls and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
