Dr. Graves, born and raised in New Orleans, followed his passion for medicine by earning a master’s degree in biology from the University of New Orleans and a doctorate from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1986. He honed his skills with an orthopedic surgical residency at Ochsner Medical Center, leading him to Largo, Florida, in 1993, where he began his esteemed career in orthopedic surgery.

Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Graves brought advanced techniques and compassionate care to his practice. Known for his expertise in minimally invasive surgical procedures, particularly for hips and knees, he provided relief and improved mobility for countless patients. His practice at Orthopedic Specialists offered a wide range of treatments, including care for injuries from motor vehicle accidents and solutions for neck and back pain.

As of June 30, 2024, Dr. Graves has retired, leaving behind a legacy of excellence in orthopedic care. In his retirement, he looks forward to spending more time enjoying his hobbies, such as fishing and watching football.
