Sabal Palms Health & Rehabilitation

"Our mother is 90 years old and suffers from dementia. Recently she broke her hip and after the hospital, we moved her to Sabal Palms for her rehabilitation. We have been so pleased with the staff and the quality and cleanliness of the facility. We feel comfortable with her being there."

"This facility has a top notch physical therapy group. No facility does it better. Unfortunately this is where the service aspect ends. First of all you must know that you have NO rights while you are a patient here! Your family, legAl reps and your medical providers are powerless once you are admitted to Sabal. The nursing staff is not always kind to the patients but that is a shift by shift problem. The director of nursing doesn't have a director. She is a very uncaring person who just hires bodies. There are some very fine staff but their hands are tied when it comes to changing any problems. Don't place the weak or frail at this facility. Their very lives are at stake here!!"

"I went to visit a friend today and I was very impressed. The lady that greeted me when I walked in went above and beyond to show me how to sign in and find his room. As I walk through the halls I was very impressed at the friendliness, cleanliness and how nice everything looked, nice furniture in the sitting areas ,plantation shutters on all the windows which left it a lot of beautiful sunlight. When I arrived at his room I was impressed at how big it was and nice as well as clean. He had finished his lunch and took a nap a lady came by to make sure he was okay and done with his lunch she was very pleasant. A great experience today!"

"My mother-in-law is a resident there currently. She broke her hip and had Alzheimers. They are so good with her. In particular I would like to acknowledge Nurse Melissa. She is so open and honest. She is supportive and great with communication. They keep the place spotless!"

"Just transferred my mom there from another facility where she was not getting enough care. Everybody was welcoming and helpful. Within 5 minutes of her being there they were in there assessing her. Notice the neglect she had previously. Said tomorrow the doctor will be in to see her. It's comforting to know that I can rest easy that she will be taking care of properly. Thank you Renee Milan for moving mountains for her to get in there and working quickly. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. They are much appreciated"
