"I had the best experience in this office. I had not seen a PCM in years and needed to finally get back on track. I set my appointment, and it did take 2 months to initially get in, but that is pretty normal for first time patients. The other option I had was to wait until Dec for a different Dr. In the office, they staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The nurses made me feel comfortable and even shared a few jokes, which I have not always experienced at former appointments with different doctors. I really felt heard in my appointment with Dr. Tran. I had been on a weight loss journey, and he quickly picked me up under his care for it, which eased my concern about receiving my medication. I was also able to talk to him about some concerns I had about some military service-connected health issues that I had been treated for. It wasn't even just him listening to me, but he asked me several times if there was anything else that he could help me with. I really felt the care and concern for any additional health issues I may have forgotten, and he truly wanted to help. After my appointment I had questions about some of my labs that came back. Any communication I have needed using the portal, I have received a response from Dr. Tran within 24 hours, but usually same day. I highly recommend This office if you are willing to have patience for that initial appointment, after you are in the system, it's extremely quick to get an appointment. Of course, if it's an emergency, you should go to Urgent Care."
"I went in for an ear infection. He only looks in the affected ear. I wake up the next day both ears are infected. I brought old medicine with me to show him what I was already using and said I need amoxicillin and fresh drops. Then he says why do you need me if your going to self diagnose. FOR ONE THING I WOULDN'T NEED HIM IF I COULD BUY THE STUFF OVER THE COUNTER. Getting ear infections every year I know what an ear infection feels like and I know how to treat it. He refused to give me amoxicillin and said whoever gave me amoxicillin for an ear infection was wrong ... wrong. I said my old primary doctor gave it to me with drops and my ear specialist Dr. Jack P. Kotlarz also gave me drops with amoxicillin. He refuses to give me antibiotics to treat the inner ear infection. Instwad tells me to take drops and come back in a week if it continues. The drops have done nothing for my roght ear pain. They help the left ear. Im in sever pain. DR Kotlarz has retired. So I call a new ear specialist and they say I need amoxicillin. I call to tell the Dr trans office. He won't respond. I tell them I need amoxicillian and they have the audacity to tell me to go to urgent care. I just saw Dr. Tran yesterday. I've never beaten an ear infection without amoxicillian. I know for a fact that it's an inner ear infection in my right ear not sure about the left. When I came in he only checked the left. Had he looked in the right he would have seen it was infected as well. If he would have put his pride aside and realized that we are suppose to be a team who works together to figure out the best treatment options. Instead he got offended that I already knew what I needed to treat the infection. I've only had ear infections yearly for about 10 years if not multiple infections per year. That attitude along with the nurses telling me to go to urgent care to get amoxicillian is terrible patient treatment and unacceptable. I will be finding a new doctor. I don't suggest you got to an inexperienced dr who refuses to give antibiotic drops and amoxicillian to someone who has had a record of ear infections. All he had to do is pull up my old records from Dr Kotlarz to see that I was not telling fibs. What is the big deal about giving amoxicillian to somome who is known to get inner and outer ear infections. If I don't get something to treat the inner affection then the pain won't go away. I'm dieing. The drops are not helping. The nurses want to argue and say he already gave me antibiotics. That's what you asked for. I called in twice asking specifically for an oral antibiotic called amoxicillian. Which is the common antibiotic used to treat an inner ear infection. After this experience I will find a new doctor. Not going to deal with a guy who can't listen to his patient. He won't pull records to check on my condition. I wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone. STAY AWAY. Find somone with more experience. You cannot tell if the inner ear is infected by looking. I know for a fact that it's an inner ear infection or the drops would be helping. Making your patient suffer because you think you know it all is ridiculous."
"Sadly never got to see dr Tran. His office staff completely messed up my appointment. I was told dr Tran was booked two months out and when I asked what I could about my medicine before March they told me to book with their nurse practitioner but sadly didn’t tell me that would cancel my real appointment with the doctor. Called back to confirm my appointment time and told me I didn’t have an appointment and would have to wait two more months. The staff treated me like trash and didn’t care at all what their mistake caused me. They blamed me for making two appointments even though that is what I was told to do by the staff! I won’t book with this office at all if this is what I can expect from them."
"Bad office Long greeting before get to receptionist. Making patient call insurance company to approve isn’t that their job. No Doctor office require patient to call insurance company like this doctor office"
"Excellent doctor. This is my dad's doctor and I go with him for visits. Dr. Tran is professional, great personality, honest, friendly, intelligent, and easily likeable. He actually takes time with his patients, which is important in a patient/ doctor relationship. I'm glad he's my dad's doctor because I feel confident in knowing my dad is being cared for in the best way. More importantly, my dad is extremely happy with Dr. Tran."
