"This is one of those salons that gives businesses run by people of color such a horrible reputation!! Danielle has been doing my hair since last year October. When I first reached out to her, she told me that the cost for shampoo blow-dry and cornrows on my natural hair was $ 45. A few days ago, I noticed that she had overcharged me on a past appointment in May. When Danielle did my hair in May, she DID NOT deduct the amount that Booksy had already charged but instead went ahead to collect the full payment plus tip! If I had not caught this, she would have never said anything about it. She agreed to deduct that amount on my next appointment due in July. Well, two days before my appointment she sends me a text saying that she had increased her prices from $45 to $70! I asked her: - Why wait until 2 days before my appointment to tell me about this massive increase? - Why tell me this after I had just noticed the overcharge from my previous appointment? This felt like some type of retaliation. I wonder how many other client’s she’s double dipping without them realizing it. When I spoke to her, she was very, unprofessional, LOUD, ABNOXIOUS, rude, nasty attitude, condescending and very combative! Mind you, this is just because I had noticed the overcharge. She was bitter and kept cutting me short and could not let me say anything at all! I then cxl my appointment because this woman was going off on me for a mistake that she had made intentionally instead of owning it up! Word of ADVICE to people going to this hair salon. Don’t leave your purse on the table in this hair salon! I lost $ 50 inside this place. It was my fault as I left my purse on the table and went to the bathroom which is located inside the hair salon. Minutes later after I had left the premises, I realized the money was missing. I called Danielle to let her know and she said she would check the security video and call me back and that was it! Never heard back from her! I cannot emphasize how unprofessional Danielle is! She lacks the very basics of customer service, talks to clients like she’s dealing with kindergarten kids, is very unprofessional, cunning, LOUD and obnoxious!! I’ve never had to deal with such behavior. If there was a zero star, I would have gladly given her. She also had the audacity to tell me that from day one, she gave me a discounted rate. Are you serious? She looked at my hair on day one and gave me a price and suddenly it was now a discounted rate because I had caught her overcharging me. She is so money hungry. She told me to go to her salon to get the overcharge back in cash then on my way there, she called me and told me that she had left her wallet at home, and she was sending me the money via cashapp. She has no morals or ethics and doesn’t care about other people’s precious time. It’s all about her! I don’t understand how somebody running a business would not notice overcharges at the end of the month when they balance their accounts. Get a receipt from her after services! She has a tendency of not giving you a receipt when you pay for the services rendered in cash!!! Very slick! Danielle, learn how to talk to clients! Clients are NOT small kids! You are so UNPROFESSIONAL and ignorant! Get some training on customer service!"
