"Your typical trailer park drama with a greedy slumlord for an owner . Quickly learned how it got its name "LAZY OAKS"."
"Please if you own an older RV do not try and inquire moving into this place. We were so excited to move here and start setting up our future, and the owners said we were accepted and then we began the application process however once they found out our RV was over 10 years old he lied and said he needed to pass on us. When I called to ask why, the gentleman on the phone was rude to me asking how old I am and that he has been in this business for 25 years. So not only did he lie, he gaslighted us and was rude and hung up the phone when I was asking why the policies were there in the first place. So DO NOT try and live here because the owners are rude and they LIE! They did not have that policy anywhere on the website! NOT TO MENTION the reason why he said no to us is because old RVs break down. However there are brand new batteries, an engine with only 58K miles on it, and we are completely re-doing the interior as well. So to be quite frank, that was no reason to not let us in if they cater to the low-income community."
"Michael & Celeste were wonderful & easy owners to work with, so kind and helpful! I would recommend for anyone to stay at Lazy Oaks RV park. Very quiet and peaceful living. I loved the size of the park, not to big and a has a home-y feeling! Thanks for letting me stay."
"The owner was very kind & seems to cater to a low income community that might otherwise be homeless. That being said...the park condition is deplorable! Beat up campers with tarps covering leaks, filthy & ancient. Looks nothing like advertised. There are no fire pits like the advertisement of the fun family photo. No picnic tables. There is a delapatated laundry hut but not sure if the machines work & you should probably use the buddy system if you are forced to use. Most of the residents there are bound to the place by what seems to be out of financial desperation. There are no community showers or amenities that they advertise under the guise of a golf club membership close by. It is sad since those we encountered were exceptionally kind & friendly. This is NOT...I repeat NOT a place for vacationing or family camping. It does seem to serve a necessary purpose for those who have no choices financially. They seem to be a tight knit community with a few unsavory characters. I witnessed one particular community senior bully & I actually witnessed detectives surrounding a camper & handcuffing a man. It was probably the only time I felt safe. We were in a tight spot & it was cheap so we had to stay a cpl nights..doors locked! But we left early & hightailed it out a there without looking back!"
