"First time here tonight. Just want to warn other folks. Was in the small dog park with my non aggressive dog, waiting on some friends to join. Two women come in - one fairly young and one older - seems like a familial relationship from the way they were bickering - have a small black and white dog with them. The dog gets in the park and almost immediately starts a fight w another dog. I was a little shocked and moved myself and my dog out of the way. The two women explained that maybe their dog felt cornered bc the other dogs had run up to it immediately - which I understand. There are about six dogs total including my dog and they all start playing and running - seemingly having fun. Then, this dog who had previously started a fight attacks my dog, grabbing his rear end w his teeth and shaking and snarling. My dog is a lover not a fighter, so he’s crying and whimpering. I am in shock and screaming, unsure of what to do. I see an “in” and grab my dog out of the situation and immediately leave. The two human individuals do not apologize and I hear one joke that that’s why they don’t come to the park - as if this has happened before! I am limbic at this point and just want to gtfoh. The older woman is asking if my dog is okay and I say I don’t even know. THEN, as I am exiting, I hear their dog attack a THIRD DOG! Mind you, as I’m driving away these people are still in the park. So I guess if you like your pup to be around irresponsible people who knowingly bring an aggressive dog into a dog park, enjoy! Otherwise - avoid at all costs."
"It's nice people... Nice people, awesome dogs small -dog park and a large- dog park. It's a great place to chat with people from the area.. it's very clean. Kept well by the people who use it and the City. Rules must be followed"
"Just a muddy dirt pile with terrible people. A couple brought their dog and his favorite toy and he bit my senior dog in the face because the toy landed near him. They picked the dog up and ran away while I asked for shot records. $300 vet visit later and I will never come here again as many people said this wasn’t the first time THIS dog had bitten."
"This is a great dog park except for the gang of people who go to the small dog area think they control the area. They will cuss you for just walking by on the sidewalk with your pet. Large dog side is great, everyone gets along."
