"I purchased a 2013 Chevy Volt Premium from Direct Car Brokers. I saw the ad in Craigslist and was not aware it was a small dealer till I got the address to see the car. So the dealer did not know much about the car except the time he has driven it. However he did provide me the Carfax report. Felix told me he buys his cars from other dealers. The cars the dealerships sell to Direct Car Brokers are trade ins ...at least in my case buying this particular car from him. The owners buy new/used cars from the dealerships most likely and get rid of there old car as the trade in. So because the car owners don't get much money for trading there old cars they will have issues sometimes. In my case the trunk shock struts were dead so the hatch would not stay open. Not very expensive to fix. The car has a long scratch along the whole right side I did not see in the Craigslist ad pictures and the car got very dirty from sitting in his small dealer lot as well as the interior did not look as good as the pictures he took. Also might have been dirty from sitting at the other dealers' lots. So his pictures and description were not entirely accurate. These are minor things, but just keep in mind a dirty car can make it harder to see any permanent cosmetic damage not easy/cheap to fix. Other than that the car did not have a backup camera for the year.... NOT HIS FAULT I did not realize that and the owners manual was missing.....again not his fault. SO ALL IN ALL YOU CAN GET GREAT DEALS AT DIRECT AUTO SALES, BUT THEY ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON....SO YOU MIGHT GET A BAD CAR ONCE IN A WHILE WITH ISSUES AFTER YOU BUY HERE. NO WARRANTY SOLD AS IS JUST BE AWARE. Other than that there is a $100 fee to take care of registration and title transfer at there car lot office. He did drop $100 off asking price so that made up the difference."
