"We used to come here all the time but had not been to the area for a few years now. So disappointed in the huge price hikes and blatant cash grab. The very small portions, not even a decent scoop, will run you a solid 7-9 dollars. Forget anything beyond a scoop as you will be over 10 dollar per person for average ice cream. Not sure what happened to this place?? Curiously enough, they used to run two separate lines inside the store to handle the crowds and now there was about 6 people in one line during prime hours in the evening. Inflation does not account for this price gauging. It certainly isn’t going into upkeep as the place is looking rough. Spend your money elsewhere."

"It's a family owned ice cream store. Service is efficient with plenty of young students available to serve you. As for the ice cream, a great selection to choose from and it's all fresh made and outstanding. As is most everything today it's a little expensive, but then it's a treat and worth every penny. If you want the best ice cream this is your place!"

"I've been coming to Scoops all the way from Northern VA several times a year for over 25 years. Scoops ice cream is, by far, the best I've had. Where many places have creamy or custard-style licks that leave you feeling full, Scoops is refreshing, light, and icy. I've yet to find such amazing ice cream. I sold my parent's house after their passing and I'm so sad after July 26, 2024, I likely will never get to eat it again. Do not miss out on the best ice cream! "We ordered a cookie dough cone and a Vanilla Sunday (added banana). We had such a hard time deciding since they had so many good options. But we’re glad we picked what we did, they were both delicious. We’re only visiting the area for a short while but we agreed that we’re definitely coming back to try their other flavors!!"
