"Great experience which is weird to say about oral surgery. Staff there is super friendly and patient. Dr Yuan was quick yet thorough in discussing the procedure and the same work that was to have been done at a prior office was half the cost here. The day of the low sure the office was attentive to my nervousness and helped me keep calm. And then he called me same day to check on me and offer input on the few questions i had post-op. I’m glad my insurance changed so I was forced to move elsewhere. Thank you!"

"I've been a patient of Dr Yuan for about 6 years now, after surgery, chemo and radiation ravaged my mouth to treat tongue cancer. I have always had a fantastic relationship with him and his staff - until today. I've been "shopping around" for full mouth extractions and replacing my teeth since I don't have a regular dentist right now. They're all happy to see me, do CT scans, and even cleaned my teeth! These "dentists" market themselves as dentists, however, they really just want to sell me expensive full mouth implants, regardless of the condition of my mouth. I've always trusted Dr Yuan and his staff to provide excellent care and act in my best interest - until today. I called to get an appointment for a consultation for him to do the extractions and dentures/implants. The sweet receptionist wouldn't make an appointment without a referral from my "regular " dentist, even though I've seen him many times in the past. She just kept repeating the same thing sweetly- which just aggravated me to the max. She couldn't even explain WHY they need a referral. I'm already feeling horrible about having to lose all of my teeth and the cost to replace them, I surely didn't need her attitude today. Sadly, while I still believe Dr Yuan is the best oral surgeon to help me, I will be going elsewhere for this treatment. I hate that these rules get in the way of true patient care. Unfortunately, it seems to be the way of the world- even with great doctors like Dr Yuan. So sorry and sad I feel compelled to write this review. I'd love to be able to cry right now, but radiation took my ability to even do that away from me."
