"Thank you to Ms. Lolita (nurse practitioner), the nursing staff, & also, the social worker who help my dear mother, Ms. Shoemo, daily. Everyone at Park Place are caring, loving & helpful. I am extremely grateful for all you do. GOD bless you all."
"My name is Lori Barker. My mother lives here. I am her medical representative. Jason the director BARRED me from the center's building because I was taking pics of My mother's neglect and told him so. If you have a loved one here. Go see them often. Believe them when they tell you something is wrong. Please BELIEVE THEM."
"EDIT: UPDATE. It was another couple weeks after this review was posted before the financials were resolved fully. My mother's personal belongings (license, heirloom diamond wedding band) were never recovered and returned, although it was previously confirmed by multiple employees there that those items were in her possession on her arrival as well as throughout her stay there at RCPP. Other than the one irate phone call I received after posting this review, I was able to recover her other personal effects minus a couple material items that may have been in the laundry according to one of the orderlies. Ultimately, be aware and do your homework before you consider this place for a loved one. What goes in may not ever come back out completely. So far, it's been a lot of stonewalling, contact avoidance, and double-speak. My mother contracted COVID while staying in this facility for assistive and rehabilitation care. She ended up being sent to the hospital and passed away just over 2 weeks later due to the extent of her illness. Since then, it's been a runaround. Her drivers license and family heirloom wedding ring (both confirmed in her possession upon arrival at RCPP) were "missing/not there" when it was time to retrieve her belongings. They tried to say that "maybe the hospital had them", although they were supposed to be secured in the facility safe with her ID info attached. They have since failed to contact or return calls to myself or the funeral home relating to direct funeral home payment for funeral expenses from funds held by RCPP. Two different funeral directors have attempted contact repeatedly with no return contact from their BOM, Sade. No contact returned from their other administrators, either. Initial statements regarding methods and procedures were changed on two different occasions, and I have both conversations on recording for reference. At this point, not sure what to do, but I'd recommend avoiding this facility at all cost if you're looking for quality care and solid ethics without the headaches."
"The lack and care and compassion shown at Park Place is alarming. My family member was placed here when discharged from the hospital as a result of COVID. We would never had elected her to go there. They don’t answer the phone, voicemails left with administrative staff are not returned, when my family member was hospitalized we were not notified, and a bill for care was mailed to us to include the dates she was in the hospital care. By the time she arrived at the hospital, she was dehydrated and unable to swallow, a fact we’d not been made aware of, and given that we routinely brought her food from her favorite local restaurants we wonder who ate those and her very nice clothes couldn’t be found when we came to pick them up since we do her laundry. Finally, I don’t think they even bothered to learn her name. I’m heartbroken and livid about the lack of care and concern exhibited by those employed here that can unnecessarily lead to loss of life."
