"I have been wanting to a rent a car from this location, but am getting conflicting information as to whether or not there is an Emerald Isle, or if I need to go to the counter. I tried calling with no luck. It would be a great help to your customers if you would make that clear. Otherwise I rent with National all the time and at any location where there is an Emerald Isle I have had great a experience."

"Always a positive experience. For the Pensacola rental, the car was available when I landed, was a new Nissan Rogue and performed as expected. The rental took all of five minutes and was very efficient. The return was equally as efficient as I drove up, an attendant was there to assist and I was on my way in less than 30 seconds. Overall, I could not be more pleased. All employees are professional and friendly and the car itself was clean, functional and a positive driving experience."

"I would like to start off by saying i use National car rental monthly and everything usually goes very smoothly. My rental experience in Pensacola however was not the case. I showed up to get my car that I had reserved to find out that they gave it to someone else. This was not a huge deal as i figured they would get another one for me. This whole process took about 45 minutes which is the last thing i want to be dealing with while on vacation. we finally get the keys to our car only to find out that it was not what I had originally reserved, which was a full-size car. we were given a Hyundai Kona which is a very small SUV that would only fit 2 bags in the rear. My daughters had to ride in the car to our destination with bags on their laps. We just decided to deal with it as we did not want to spend any more time at the National counter getting it worked out. I'm sure this was a one-off issue as I said before that I have never had any other issues with National rentals. I will continue to use National as I feel their processes make it convenient for the frequent traveler in most cases."

"The line was longer than my flight. Every single time I come here it’s the same story. It takes 5 minutes per person to reserve a car - 17 people in line. Emerald club status does not make a difference - you have to stop by the desk. Do yourself a favor and do not rent here until they improve their processes and staff accordingly."
