"Helpful and kind. Meats every week. This location has been a great help with our financial hardship times. The kids love coming here to help pick up the food. For anyone new, speak up and ask where to go/ sign in. If you need help, don't stand around quietly. It's hard to tell who is a volunteer and who's there for the food. There is a sign up/ sign in area. You'll sign in each visit before receiving food."
"THIS IS THE WORST FOOD BANK I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I stood there for about ten minets at least while the staff riffeled through the food to decide what they were going to take home and SELL FOR PROFIT! They said they plan on making money on a hot sauce collection. I like hot sauce. I told the lady that it was my first time there and I did not know what their rules were. The lady did not care and continued picking out what she wanted apparently. "I know we're not supposed to take home food, but..." One woman walked by with a plate of food and asked me if I was hunrgy. I said, "Yeah." Then she laughed at me and stuffed her face! Her plate contained lettuce, something that I have not been able to afford in weeks and weeks. Did she offer me any? NO. "Oh, I assumed you were a volenteer." said a man planning on making money on food I could eat. Then I found the ringleader "Sue". She asked me what I needed and I explained that I needed vegetables and gluten free food desparately and that I have been homeless for a year. Then (and this broke my heart the most honestly) she turned to one of here employees like I was not there and said "We'll give her bread." I said "May I please have some cherrys and some peppers?" and pointed to the stacks and stacks of produce. Sue interegated me about HOW I could possibly eat the peppers, as if I could only get them if I ate them the way SHE wanted. She said that I couldn't have insant coffee because I am homeless and don't have a place to cook. I explained that I CAN aquire hot water. There was stacks and stacks of vegetables!!!!! Vegetables that I can not afford, nor forsee affording in the forseeable futer. (I have to save my $55 of food stamps for ice and coffee.) She said for the third time "We don't give out food today." They are eating the food taking the food and plan on making a profit on the food. Please DO NOT give food to this corupt and cruel gang, irregardless of your confirmation bias that you thought she or it was nice. I would rather the stores just give away the food at the store, even just to paying customers. Know that what you put in a box to give to a food bank gets rifeled though by employees and sold for profit. They would not give me food, yet taunted me and laughed in my face. I hope Sue is ashamed of herself and embarassed for interegating me about HOW I could eat vegetables. THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME FOOD! They were eating in front of me. Lucky for all of them I am not a mandated reported in this state, but I should call Edwin Jenkins to report these fraud crimes WAY bigger than panhandleing I happened to find out about because they thought I was a volenteer. Unreal."
"Very kind folks"
"Very nice people they have everything ready for you to go"
