Welcome to the Church of the Holy Spirit, a cherished place of worship nestled in the heart of Schenevus, New York. Located at 6 Arch Street, our historic church has been a beacon of faith and community since its inception as the St. Agnes Mission in 1840. After acquiring land in 1888, the Church of the Holy Spirit was constructed and consecrated on December 21, 1891. Our church is renowned for its 502-pound bell, installed in 1906, which continues to ring out on Sundays and Feast Days, symbolizing the enduring love of Christ within our hamlet.

Led by the Rev. Nancy Truscott, we are a small but welcoming congregation committed to sharing the love of Christ and fostering a spirit of neighborliness within our community. As part of the Susquehanna Deanery, we strive to be a supportive presence for all who seek spiritual growth and fellowship.
