Reviews
"Very hospitable people! It was a wonderful experience!"
"The lectures organized by the Russian History Museum match the Museum itself: useful, scholarly, accessible, important. I attend the lectures and visit the museum as often as I can--and I support them financially (as best I can). Five stars."
"Small, but excellent museum. Its exhibitions are thoughtfully laid out and the displays have very good notes. It is located on the grounds of the Holy Trinity Monastery. If you have time, also visit the monastery's gift shop and bookstore (located near the front of the monastery, next to the parking lot). If you visit on a Sunday, note that the museum is open till 4:00 PM, while the gift shop and bookstore are only open from about 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, so plan your visit accordingly. (On other days, the gift shop and bookstore are open longer - I think until 4:00 PM). The museum is closed on Mondays."
"Very special. This atmosphe in New York upstate ! There is a nice exhibition."
"Outstanding!!! We arrived around lunch time and were invited to dine with the monks and observe their prayers and rituals - a rare treat. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, the Russian art was magnificent and the entire setting is beautiful. The chapels and campus are located on a remote hilltop that is visible from a distance and the entire experience is like stepping back in time and place. Thanks once again to Andrey and Hannah for hosting our visit."
