"I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Merima Smajic, a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker Prime Properties. Unfortunately, this review is necessary to warn others about her unethical practices and behavior. From the outset, Merima came across as arrogant and full of herself. She gave the impression that she was doing me a favor by showing me properties, rather than providing a service that I was paying for. Her condescending attitude was off-putting and unprofessional. The issues didn't stop there. Merima consistently lied about the condition of the properties she was showing. She painted a rosy picture of homes that, upon closer inspection, had serious hidden issues. It's clear she was doing everything in her power to trick people into buying junk properties. This level of dishonesty is unacceptable in any professional, especially a real estate agent who should be advocating for her clients' best interests. Adding to the concerns, Merima leverages her position as an attorney for the City of Utica to intimidate and push people around, including her neighbors. This abuse of power is troubling and speaks volumes about her character. It's disheartening to see someone use their professional status in such a manipulative way. There are also allegations of an ongoing investigation involving the distribution of illegal drugs from one of the properties she owns and rents out. If true, this is a serious legal and ethical violation that further tarnishes her reputation and that of Coldwell Banker Prime Properties. Overall, Merima Smajic is making Coldwell Banker Prime Properties look bad. Her arrogance, dishonesty, and unethical behavior are detrimental to the company's reputation. I strongly advise anyone considering working with her to think twice and look for a more trustworthy and professional real estate agent."
"I would not rent or buy/sell from Merima Smejic-Oren. Really bad experience with her and just plan took advantage of us. All this stuff was her responsibility to take care of and she did not, among other things. It’s a shame because I know Coldwell Banker is a great real estate company but very bad experience with Merima. Will go somewhere else to buy now."
