"My husband and I have had the opportunity to work with Charles as our realtor. I am beyond grateful for the experience we had with Charles, as he exceeded our expectations. He assisted us in finding a good bank to work with and made sure that we were treated fairly. He also made sure that the bank keep their promise of providing us with low interest rate. He was always available for any question or concerns. There is a lot that goes on during the buying process between the buyers, sellers, inspection, attorneys, and the bank. Charles was on top of everything and made sure all communications were taking care of. We definitely recommend charles to anyone looking to buy a house. We will certainly be working with him again."
"As someone whose been buying house all over Brooklyn and NJ for many years and dealing with multiple real estate agencies, I can honestly say my experience with Charles D'Alessandro has got to be the worst. He posted a listing he had on zillow and redfin that caught my eye and within 3 hours i was able to get an appointment for a private viewing with him to see the house in the morning. When I walked in he didnt introduce himself nor did he look busy. He sat down on a chair by the door and said "yea go take a look" as if not to be bothered with. My husband and i walked around and helped ourselves as people were walking in to what i thought would be our private viewing of the house. No one had an appointment it was a free for all, defiantly not like it was advertised. Had it been an open house i would expect it however i called specifically for a private viewing to avoid all this hectic nonsense. I wish I can end my review here however, there is more. After leaving the house my husband and i discussed what would be fair to offer and we decided that that we would offer 100k over asking price. It only took us one short hour to come to this decision. tTo be exact, our appointment was at 10:00, we attempted to call with our offer at 10:48 am. After multiple phone calls, texts, and messages left at his office we didn't hear back from him until 3:21 pm. Who knew it would be SO HARD to try and make an offer 100k over asking price right? this guy made it seem close to impossible. the best part was that instead of apologizing for the delay in response, we received nothing but rude comments as if our offer meant nothing to him. After hanging up with him my husband and i decided to then add 60k to our original asking price (that is a total of 160k) and he replied that he would get back to us. The next morning, we didn't hear from anyone, so we decided to follow up with Charles as his incompetence seemed of the norm at this point. At 2:33 pm our patience was wearing thin, so we decided to call the office AGAIN to find out that the house was sold. We weren't even given a chance to counter offer or was even provided a courtesy phone call, absolutely NOTHING! When we expressed our feelings of lack of service that we were provided from this agency and warned them about the review I'm currently writing, we were threatened by him and i quote "you will be hearing from my attorney." Luckily in America we have something called freedom of speech and it is unfortunate that this guy even thought that id be stupid enough not to know my rights just adds to the insult we've received from Charles and his team. If you are an owner looking for an honest broker to sell your home, do not trust Charles D'alessandro. Every owner trying to sell they're property should have the right to hear EVERY SINGLE OFFER, no matter big or small."
