"We had an amazing stay at Sonder Court Square! Extremely convenient location right across from many Metro lines, across the road from a trader Joe’s and a really good 24 hour diner, and within walking distance to so many other Food and grocery places! The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful!"

"I live nearby but required a short apartment stay due to construction. I’ve stayed at Sonder locations outside of NYC and always had wonderful experiences. The studio apartment at Sonder Court Square was perfect for my use. The room was large, spotless and comfortable. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the kitchen, the amount of dishes, flatware, utensils, etc… Also the bathroom was fully stocked with towels (all sizes), shampoo, soap, body lotion, etc… The building was staffed with very friendly / helpful personnel when I checked in and out and the pre-arrival information with lock codes was clear and useful. I love the LIC area obviously (it’s my home for 20+ years) so the location was perfect. If you are visiting it’s a great location for transportation, bars, restaurants and a short walk will get you to the beautiful Gantry Park along the East River. A helpful note - travel with a sound machine. This is a very busy city with car, train and people noise. I use a sound machine at my home apartment and used one while at Sonder to drown out the street and nearby 7 train sounds."

"Room was great and looked like the photos. There was an issue with the fridge and freezer. This led to some of frozen goods to spoil by the next morning when we noticed. Sonder did the repair quite quickly and the gentleman who helped us was nice. However, didn't receive any compensation for goods ruined. Others have mentioned the train being loud, but we didn't find that the case. While you can definitely hear it, we didn't find it an issue and were able to sleep fine."

"We had a great stay at Sonder Court Square in Long Island City. The location was excellent in terms of accessibility to the subway and Manhattan. The area is pretty noisy because of the train but we were lucky to get a room that was further away. We stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom and didn’t feel constricted. The carpets and floors could use more thorough cleaning though but overall it was clean. Shout out to Teron at the reception desk for his excellent customer service!!!!!"

"This hotel was perfect for us. It’s right next to court square station. It’s a 12 min train to Grand Central. Other nearby amenities include: target, Trader Joe’s, and many breakfast spots. Long Island City has a beautiful waterfront park, lots of great restaurants and bars. The hotel is minimal, which kept the costs down and is good for the environment. Sonder had everything we needed. The bed was cozy. The blackout shades ensured a good night sleep. They offer earplugs to offset the train noise, if needed. We were able to request towels, at no extra cost. If you want a full cleaning, there’s a charge. I would stay here again."
