"I read the other review for this realtor and sadly this was not my experience. Maybe because I was looking for an apt instead of a house. My only interaction was with the owner. I sent a request to view one her properties via one of the apt. apps and did not get a response for over a week. Odd but understandable depending on how “hot” the unit is and it’s availability. I decided to send her a personal message and she responded. First email had no introduction nor pleasantries: First email: This property is still available thanks Doris My response: Is anyone available tomorrow for a showing? Thanks Her: Maybe? It depends. Please call me a 914-837-**** so we can discuss the possibility. Thanks Doris Her: Hello April, prior to our meeting tomorrow, I thought I would send you a copy of the rental application for the property at 543 Main St. Please find it attached for your review. Thanks Doris Clarke The last email was little more pleasant. Anyway she informed me of the financial requirements to apply for the building and my income and credit score far exceeded the requirements, I was still interested. My fiancé and I met up with her and viewed the property. It was interesting because she made it appear like an upscale building with a concierge and what I saw upon entering was a young woman in a camouflage hoodie slouched down at the concierge desk who couldn’t even bother to look up and say “good afternoon.” The unit itself was very disappointing. Small, not cleaned and with two closets. We told her in the unit that it wasn’t for us. She still inquired about us filling out the application which she gave me the impression that she didn’t think we could pass that process, I gave her my number and name and requested that she please keep us in mind. When we arrived at the elevator, she felt the need to mention twice that “there was a gym in building.” Obvious pot shot after we told her 3 times that the unit didn’t meet our standards and leading up to meeting with her, she acted like meeting with us was a waste of her time. Definitely would not recommend and Doris if you ever read this review just please delete my number. Thanks"

The purchase hit several snags which I will not bore you with, but Clarke Realty was unbelievably supportive throughout the entire process. Doris never tired of our phone calls and was always willing to help, even when it was beyond the scope of her work. Even long after we closed on the house, Doris continued to help us! We could not have been happier with our experience with Clarke Realty. We would certainly call on them again in the future and highly recommend to anyone searching for a home."
