"Wash and fold is so disappointing. This has ti be the worst service. I have to repeat the process. And there are remnants of pods they use on our clothes. Super bad service. This is the 2nd time so i have to post a review. I hope you do something about this employees. Please see my photos."

"Overall, this laundromat is good. There’s a generous amount of washers and dryers, and the washers come in a very good range of sizes. Even when it’s at its most busy, I usually don’t have to wait very long to get to a dryer. They have a very good selection of laundry materials if you don’t bring your own, as well as laundry bags available for purchase. I have not used their drop off service, but the prices are fairly consistent with locations in the area. The staff are also very kind and are always helpful. They also have a great taste in music! The volume is generally great, not too loud at all. The pay system is card based, where you load money onto a card you receive from the machine (the card itself carries a small cost, in my opinion not too expensive at all if you treat the card well and don’t lose it). There is an ATM and a couple of vending machines. Prices are on the mid to high range. You’re best off trying to use as few washers as possible. Cleanliness wise, I have seen some roaches, flies, and ants. It’s NYC, these are to be expected, I’ve never seen an infestation, and they tend to be around the front door, not the washers/driers. They may benefit from some minor pest control measures. The washers sometimes smell a bit, but not to an extant that it’s ever affected my clothing. The smell is definitely due to the washers being closed after use, keeping the door even just slightly open can reduce those smell. There will usually be a couple of washers and driers out of order, but it’s never a lot and I’ve seen maintenance come in on multiple occasions. They stay on top of repairs. The only real repeatable con I’ve run into is with the driers — running them on high has resulted in my clothes coming out smelling burnt (only smelling, I have never experienced actual burns on the clothes), even across a few different machines at different times of day. The clothes had to be re-washed. I have reported this to the staff and they have always promptly addressed it and put up an out of order sign. This isn’t too out of the ordinary as industrial driers tend to run hotter, so aim on the side of medium or low heat. They may just need a bit more frequent lint removal. Overall, this Clean Rite is a very serviceable place to get your laundry done. The staff are attentive and kind, there is a sizeable amount of machines, and they have a great laundry supply stock on hand. Prices are a tad on the higher side, but not unreasonable if you manage your load size well. There’s only minor things for the location to improve when it comes to cleanliness/maintenance. I would recommend this location to others."

"I had the pleasure of visiting Clean Rite on 50th and Roosevelt and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations from start to finish the experience was fantastic thanks to Mr. Bill. First off, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the new machine and Mr Bill was excellent, he greeted me with a warm welcome and was more than willing to assist me with the issue until it was solved. His professionalism and positive attitude made the entire process a breeze. Another thing I must say I love the cleanliness of the laundry. Is important to feel confident that your laundry is being handled in hygienic environment, and Clean Rite definitely delivered on that front."

"I like to do my laundry here, it’s spacious, clean, many new machines and free parking. There’s always an assistance available to help you. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays dryers are free and that’s a big plus."
