"I’ve gone for both washing and dry cleaning service. Hanga welcomed me very kind. I’m new to the city and I’m just getting used to the idea of washing the laundry outside. Since I used a lot of detergent when I washed it myself, I expected my clothes to smell the same when I received it, but I couldn’t smell fresh at all. I received my cream color coat, which I gave for dry cleaning, with a rust stain that is transmitted from the hanger they hung. When I took it back, they sent it back to the place that made the dry cleaning and the rust stain was cleaned. It would really be a disappointment if the stain hadn’t come out."
"My neighborhood is full of dry cleaners but my go-to dry cleaner Is J&M. They’ve consistently exceeded my expectation and saved some of my favorite garments from stains. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend their service to anyone looking for top notch dry cleaning."
"Shoddy low budget cleaning and tailoring - repugnant customer service. My current dry cleaner which is Madame Paulette always does a great job but is very expensive. My tailor had retired. Red flag that there is a sign that she pointed out that if you pay cash, you save money. I fell prey to that, and paid in cash. I had an old pair of jeans that needed a patch in the inner thigh area, I entered this business. Mei the manager quoted me $20 so I left the jeans with her. I wasn’t judging how dingy and low budget this place looks. I root for the underdog and figured I’d give it a chance. My husband and I went the following week to pick up the jeans, and the thread was white instead of blue and a silk patch was used instead of a denim. Somehow I thought Mei was personable and she agreed to have her tailor go over the white thread with blue. Although she seemed to get too familiar with us and made judgmental comments. When we left, my husband thought she was condescending, and had bad energy, and was surprised that I was giving her more of my business. Perhaps she's nice to her established customers, who haven't had their garments ruined, but since I was a new customer and someone that wasn't going to bring all of our cleaning and laundry, she didn't care. I also brought my lightweight Moncler jacket to be cleaned. A BIG MISTAKE ! She quoted me $35 dollars, whereas it’s usually more expensive to clean. I should never have brought an expensive jacket to a place like this. Unfortunately I got what I paid for. I'm paying the price for being thrifty. I should have gone to a reputable tailor and cleaner. Her nasty and rude behavior towards me is inexcusable. She had brushed me aside and was being overly friendly to her regular CUSTOMER as she disrespectfully snarled. I said I'm a customer, and she scoffed at me right in front of him. She didn't consider me a customer, but had no problem taking my cash. After wearing the jeans twice, the stitches were ripping since the silk patch is too delicate for jeans. I don’t know what kind of amateur this tailor is for her skill and aesthetic. After three time of fixing it, the jeans are now bulky and unwearable with this giant, thick patch the inept tailor put over the silk patch. I had worn the Moncler jacket twice after it was cleaned and it was shedding feathers excessively. When I was going to wear it on a chilly day this week, I noticed a giant feather sticking through a seam on the sleeve. I called the Moncler store where I had purchased it and was advised to bring it in. I was told that if it’s not cleaned properly this can happen. If I were to pull it out, I could have caused a hole. I received an estimate of $150 for repair. I tried calling Mei on Thursday but she wasn’t in or just didn't come to the phone. I wanted to let her know about the jacket. I ended up going to J & M today, to show her photos of the feather in the jacket, the estimate from Moncler, and the shoddy work of her tailor. Mei snarled at me, and accused me of harassment and calling her all the time! I wouldn’t have had to call and come in 3 times over these jeans if they were done correctly the first time! She is vicious and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing for my bad experiences with her business, she insulted me, and aggressively came from behind the counter, got into my personal space to throw me out. If her services didn't damage my garments we wouldn't be in this situation. I'm older than Mei, and she is scrappy and found me unthreatening. I wonder if she found my appearance more intimidating if she would have been so tough. Her disrespect to a dissatisfied CUSTOMER who didn't want her garments ruined is reprehensible. Stay away from this poor excuse of a dry cleaner."
"I have been using their services for many years. Wash and fold, dry cleaning and alteration services are all impeccable. The staff is extremely friendly and never had missing or broken items. Their prices are not much different than the other dry cleaners in the neighborhood. The staff is accommodating and gives advice for difficult stains on specific fabrics. I would highly recommend this establishment!"
"Over priced....the wash and fold is fine but you are definitely over paying for the service, which I didn't mind too much until I had them wash a 2 pillowcases. After I picked up the pillowcases one of the zippers on them came back broken, which they refused to fix for free even though under happened under their care. It's not even about the price to fix it, it's about the principal. Which is frustrating since I have been a loyal customer for them for 2 years and now they refuse to fix a zipper on a pillowcase? Whatever I'll be looking into other local cleaners..."
