"Went to this cleaners to drop off something to be altered and the lady was very rude. If you’re not spending over a certain amount she refuse to alter your garment. Take your business elsewhere."

I called the day before and when I went they were closed early, they told me come the next day. The audacity for her to want me to pay $50 to hem a pant!!! "I have been coming to this cleaners for almost 4 years and I was surprised to be treated the way I was treated today. Through the years, I take sacks of designer clothes in bulk spending at LEAST $1000 a year on cleaning or more a year at this business. I took a suit here and the seam of the zipper needed to be repaired on the pants. Since I drop off bulks of clothes, I did not notice that they forgot to repair my pants until I went to wear them; however it was months later that I discovered this. I paid for it, but the work wasn’t done. I went to the lady owner who works at the front desk (the man owner -her husband- was not there) and told her my situation. Of course she acted like she didn’t remember me and went on how she has hundreds of customers. I know she remembers me because every-time I bring in my clothes she comments on them. I have no reason to lie about something so trivial. I was only asking them to do the job I paid for. It was like she didn’t want to acknowledge anything at all. So after the back and forth and her speaking unclear English purposefully so that I couldn’t understand her, I politely told her I will be taking my business elsewhere, where I can be treated better as a customer. If you come here, make sure you check every article of clothing and try on your alterations before leaving. I won’t be coming back. This experience really disappointed me and I thought I would never be treated this way., considering that I was a loyal high paying customer."

"I recently experienced the worst treatment from Joann the owner and husband. My father and I have been dealing with them for over 20 plus years. We spend over $300 per month on dry cleaning. I recently took them 2 expensive hoodies because I trust them and upon receiving the item and finally taking it out of the plastic, we notice it shrunk. I called Joann immediately and advised what happen. She said that being we waited over a month, she refused to try and fix the issue or even take a look. She told me to take her to court. With the length of history that we have been dealing with Glassman Cleaners, I was very disappointed and unsatisfied with the treatment. I will not recommend this cleaner to anyone in the local area."
