"If you truly need your clothes washed, go there. I had tried the new fancy laundry across City college in Amsterdam and my clothes were not washing. This place is not the fanciest but it is cheaper and your clothes are actually being washed. Overall I had a great experience and the staff is nice and helpful."

"MY CLOTHES STINK LIKE MILDEW after using the large-capacity washers in the back of the laundromat. The last two large washers specifically. I did laundry last night 12.22.2021 & to be honest I noticed a smell when I was taking my clothes out of the washers, wasn't sure where the smell was coming from but sure enough after getting home opening my laundry bag it was my clothes. And my clothes were dried completely. I hope the smell comes out of my clothes, it's making me nauseous. Beware. Tenda 8 Laundromat on 518 West 145th Street, West Harlem NYC 10031"

"I’ve been here twice. The first time was fine, no issues. This second time, a $3.75 machine took my money. I told the woman and she is very defensive, saying the machine didn’t take it etc etc. She did not check the cameras. I told her off then left. She clearly needs the $4 more than I."

"Seems like one of the better places in the neighborhood. It has plenty of machines but almost no where to sit. 145th isn't very pretty around this area to put it lightly, which can be a bit of a downer when you just want to get laundry done, but the people working there are nice. There's a taco truck right outside, a few places to eat nearby, and a NY public library across the street if you're bored while your laundry is spinning."
