"I've been coming here for a while and liked the hours of the laundromat, but I'm not sure if I'll continue coming here as often. The prices have gone up drastically and the service hasn't improved. As others have commented the Mexican women that do work here have a passive aggressive attitude. In addition to that, the machines are constantly broken. So it makes it competitive to access a machine. The fees for the machine are often odd numbers, this requires you to constantly fill up your card. You then spend more money on fees and reloading which I'm sure is great for the business but not the customer. The women that work here are unable to merge the values on the card. So if you have one card with 5 dollars and another with 6 you can't use the machine or merge them so you have to spend more money. The owner should allow the staff access to this because it would make an easier experience when using the machine. I don't understand why the owner would not allow them to help customers 100%. Seems like a controlling thing to do."
"Very bad customer service. Has been like this since I first started coming here a few months ago. The ladies who work here tend to be very rude and like to yell at you for no reason. When you ask them questions regarding the use of the machines and any store policies, they provide inconsistent answers—appearing to not know the answers themselves. Additionally, the laundromat is much too small for the amount of people that come. It’s always busy and has very little space to move around. Completely and totally inaccessible. Add on top of that, the machines are often broken, so there is even more demand for the small number of machines left. I do not trust this place and don’t recommend using this establishment to do your laundry. The only positives are that the ATM fee is the lowest I have seen in NYC so far and the establishment stays very clean."
"Great place to do laundry! I've tried the others and their machines aren't as good. The ladies working here are friendly and the machines are taken care of and clean. You won't find a soiled diaper in a machine like I did in the last place."
"Today was my breaking point. I have been a loyal customer of this laundromat for years. There is on occasion a situation in which one of the machines aren’t working properly like today. It happens I understand that. Any and every time either myself or my children have asked for assistance from the photographed woman, she does nothing but yell and get rude in front of the whole place!! Today, one of the largest machines wasn’t working properly. My son went to place the clothes in the dryer but after 30 minutes, the machine was still “washing” but it did not appear to have much water. He asked the attendant for help. She yelled at him and when he told her he didn’t speak spanish, she yelled at him to “wait”. So I had to get dressed and leave my apt to come down to the laundromat because I speak more spanish than my son. I simply asked for assistance because I did not see any water in the machine. Not only did she yell at me saying I had to wait until the machine stopped for her to check the clothes. To which she agreed and put up a bit in service sign on that machine. I asked if she had any soap open because my son had used the last bit on the machine that was broken (which was still in the machine), She yelled at me again saying that my son didn’t put any soap in the machine or any money and that he knew it was broken but put the clothes in there anyway. Several people there offered us soap and apologized to me for that woman’s behavior. This is literally the 5th time she had yelled at me because a machine wasn’t working and I ask for either the money or in this case detergent. Because it is close by, I have continued to go. But this was it, I will not return of this woman continues to work there. I have heard several times that I am not the only one who has been yelled at by here. But to yell at my young son who was only asking for assistance, that’s it for me to look for a new laundromat. I hope management looks for a replacement because she will ruin the business."
