"The best !"
"Rockmor Electric is one of the most pathetic companies you could ever work for or do business with. Rockmor is a company that will do anything to cut corners, and they're the type of company that will piss on your back and tell you its raining. George Silva, the superintendent of Rockmor used me like a dummy and stabbed me in the back. As a college helper having been accepted into Local 3 to work for them, I took every advantage to experience, learn, and participate in the business. As a student I was only supposed to be employed for the summer from June to September. I worked all the way till August, and they put me on a job where the Foreman had absolutely no care for the fact that I was inexperienced and only supposed to be doing certain things (I.E get coffee, grab deliveries, and most importantly be working with a Journeyman all day). When he had asked too much of me and I was not comfortable, I respectfully told him "I'm supposed to be working WITH a mechanic, not AS one". He was pissed off, and the next day I came into work I was laid off because they have no more work for me, they called it 'Reduction of Force'. Absolutely pathetic, I called George Silva and respectfully thanked him for everything he's done for me, but I should be compensated for the $408.00 train ticket I just purchased for the month of august. Our conversation was briefly ended with a "Sorry buddy there's nothing I'm going to do for you". That was absolutely pathetic from a man who was supposed to be taking care of me and making sure I was safe and comfortable with my work environment and helped me make some money for school which is the whole reason why the college HELPER program was implemented in the first place. You'll be sorry if you deal with this half-assed contractor."
