"If you are a new home buyer, or are unfamiliar with the process, I do not recommend using this agency. Our agent, Jennifer Gilmore, was very committed in helping us find our new home and communicated to the seller's agent our repair requests from the inspection, but she failed to provide us with a final walk through prior to closing (though she did apologize) and failed to provide us with a disclosure report as proof of these requested repairs, even after we asked for the report several times after closing. After closing, we discovered that many issues we requested to be fixed were not fixed, which resulted in over $5,000 of unexpected out-of-pocket repairs. (I.e. Blockage to sewer line resulting in water leakage in basement, corroding electrical panel due to water damage and inoperable lights and power outlets and inoperable brand new kitchen appliances - no inspection sticker from NYSEG which is mandatory, no furnace chimney liner which will leak carbon monoxide into house, smoke detectors removed from house post-inspection which is illegal under Amanda's Law, poorly installed brand new flooring that cracked, brand new doors installed but deadbolts are inoperable because they don't line up properly, bathroom vanity installed too close to door frame so the drawers cannot open.) After speaking to our agent and her brokers, there was no restitution for these failures. The retired owner of the brokerage, Thomas Sbarra, was extremely rude (though he did later apologize) and the current broker, Deb Sbarra, only apologized for his behavior but did not listen to our concerns or offer any solution. All of these issues could have been avoided if we simply were provided with a disclosure report and a final walk through prior to closing. This is completely unacceptable in a business as referral and person-based as real estate."

"Very negative experience when corresponding with agent Jackie Pezzuti. We found her to be very insulting and condescending when discussing interest in purchasing a property. Over the years we have dealt with other Sbarra agents including family members and found them to be very polite and more than helpful. I do not believe the owners would condone or appreciate this type of conduct."
