"This is not a locksmith store. Is only a key machine on-site that don't make all the keys I need. Waste of time."
"I chose one brass key and one green titanium key. The green titanium was cut fine and came out great. The brass one basically just came out straight with no teeth"
"My dog walker lost my building key and I was coming home from a day out but needed to come back to get ready for a night event. I was fortunate to be able to get my neighbors building key and make a copy. I was a bit skeptical about the 100% satisfaction claim as I’ve had bad experiences with key machines making copies. However, I made 2 copies of my keys, went back to my apt building and both worked perfectly. Thanks for saving me and being able to get back into my apt so that I could get back to my life."
"I had two keys made from one of their automatic vending machines and have never felt so part of a sci fi future. Now I can finally get into my own apartment."
"A bit expensive, but convenient ... if you are not in a rush. The machine scans your key. You enter your address where a copy of your key is mailed to you within 3 to 5 days. You are given the option of having the scanned data saved to the KeyMe cloud (or network). I returned to this kiosk twice ... 1st. The nearby hardware store didn't have the key type. 2nd. The nearby hardware store that I used to copy about 4 keys, created two copies that didn't work. I returned to the hardware store one time to get the copied key fixed. About a week later, I discovered that another key copy (from the hardware store) didn't work. I was in no mood to return to the hardware store. Overall, KeyMe was more expensive, but convenient. And with the save feature, you wouldn't have to worry about copying a lost key (as long as you are able to wait 3 to 5 days for a replacement key to arrive). Useful if you need to replace a mailbox key or a padlock key, but not great if you lost your house keys."
