"I don’t recommend going through this company. If you ever fall behind on rent and you have kids, they will not care and will put you on the street! They will ignore mold in the property, and so many other safety hazards about your property. I understand the importance of making payments on time, but in this day and age when a family falls behind you’d think a housing company would be compassionate; especially when you have children and disability that prevents you from working they will still sue you and kick you to the curb right before winter! DON’T FALL FOR IT. They don’t care about your family; just rent being on time. Don’t care about maintaining a safe living environment but will evict you :( trying to get rental assistance to catch up rent doesn’t matter to them either, if you are too behind you can’t be saved and will have to sleep in your car with your children. If I could give negative stars I would. Heartless company."

"This is the worst company we’ve ever rented from. They care about keep their tenants quiet and getting rent payments- that’s all. You have a structural issue and awfully damaged (and dangerous for our one year old) floors? Took MONTHS to get it fixed. They find black mold after ripping out sub floors and then told the flooring company to stop ripping the sub floor out and just throw the new floors on top. Leaving us questioning whether or not there is more mold they want to hide. I asked Leslie if there was water damage before we moved in she said yes, and after asking multiple times and being ignored she finally admitted they didn’t check for back mold after. This is just one of the many many issues we have had. I would not recommend this company to anyone ever. We cared about keeping a clean home, we paid our rent on time every month. There were no excuses. They simply don’t care. Even the flooring company told me another young family with a baby just moved into another house and found black mold and they were told “if you don’t like it, get out”. Please avoid at all costs."

"I dont know if this is some kind of scam or we are just unlucky...seeing all the expensive properties in other websites their listings catch ones eyes because the houses are much nicer for better price but the system they run is almost impossible to rent from them. When calling the office number it goes to call center who investigate you like your criminal then after all that they say someone will call you back to answer your questions...no one calls back... calling again they can't find your application that they made you fill at avail for $20 per person. Then somehow if you did manage to get all that than you get approval only to find out the rental has been offered to someone else or the listing is removed...I spend $60 for nothing."

I have read some of these reviews and I am a little confused as to why some individuals where upset when they were assessed a late fee for not paying their rent on time. No matter where you live you pay rent, mortgage, etc. and if it is not paid on time you are assessed a late fee (just like any other bill we all have). Rent is usually due on the 1st of every month and this Company's gives you a three-day grace period. Now, if you rent to own and pay your rent on time each month this Company will give you $50 a month towards your closing costs. I do not know of any other rent to own Company that offers this incentive. Everyone knows this information in advance so if for some reason you do not pay your rent by the third of each month you will be assessed a late fee. In addition, if you just rent from this Company or any Company their usually is a checklist of some sort of things that should be done before you leave. The bottom line is that no matter who you rent from you must respect that individuals property. I have found that this Company is straight forward and everything you need to know is found in your lease (everyone is always told to read your paperwork before you sign anything whether it is a home, a car, etc.). If you do not understand something, all you have to do is call them (they do return calls) and will explain to you whatever it is you need clarification on. I would recommend them to everyone 100%!!"

"We have had a positive rental relationship with Easy To Own for the past seven years. We have always found the staff to be responsive to any problems or concerns. We have been most impressed with the manner in which they have managed our situation since we experienced a fire in January. After the the fire the staff has worked closely with us and the contractors to insure that we would be able to move back into our home as soon as possible. They have been helpful, understanding and have communicated with us during the entire process. We have just returned to our home and highly recommend this company to anyone interested in renting/purchasing a home for you family."
