"Great little laundromat in the center of Marathon, New York. The place is nice and clean, plenty of washers and dryers in good working order, and parking right in front. Even a nice little grocery right next door!"
"Its not a bad little laundromat. Its actually a good thing for our small little town. My dryer broke recently, and what a relief it was when I went down and was able to load up 5 loads of laundry at once. Good prices as well. Only issue I had was on a Sunday they say they close at 7. It was 6:50 and I was packing up my laundry and the guy came over to lock up. He's like sorry we close at 7. I said its not even 7 yet. And he said yeah we close this up before we close the store. So if that's the case then they should let ppl know They close a few minutes early so nobody is at risk of having there belongings locked in over night. He aloud me to finish getting my things thankfully."
"Great prices! Currently, for the standard machines, it's only $1.25. Medium size is $4 and their big loaders are $6. Cheaper than I've seen other places. The dryers are $0.25 for 8 minutes. It's not very big and there were a couple of machines that were down. But if you get there early, should not be a problem. They don't have a change machine on site, but they are attached to a grocery store. They will sell you a roll of quarters for $10. There is a change machine right across the street at the car wash as well. Like most laundromats, it is not air conditioned, but you can sit outside on the chairs they provide. There are tables and carts as well. FYI, there's a sign that they don't want any rugs with rubber mats or dog beds/blankets No Wi-Fi. So not real fancy but perfect for the small town and excellent on prices."
"The prices are very reasonable. Only 1.25 for a single loader! I was surprised. And the dryers too are reasonable. I travel for my job and find that most laundry mats are so expensice, not this one. Place looked clean, everything worked as it should."
"Always looking for a new place to do my laundry, I headed out to the Marathon Laundromat. It was just what I needed. Two things that stood out to me though. On the list of rules posted forcefully (and prominently), I learned that all patrons are supposed to remain in the laundromat while using the machines. And I thought, really, who does that? Leaving the laundromat is one of the best parts about going to the laundromat. Second, they do not provide a change machine. There’s another sign instructing patrons to go next door to the grocery to get change. Which I did at first, but then I thought, what’s the fun in that, there’s got to be a better place to get change than the grocery, which I found...ola mijos"
