Reviews
"Beautiful place to take an hike. Could get lost in it endless beauty."
"Gorgeous place. Great hikes"
"Trails on both sides of the Carmas River follow the marsh. I walked about 8 miles finishing on the East side for sunset. Due to Covid the Center is closed. The woods are peaceful and there are many benches to stop and rest. It is a popular spot for birding and at dusk a deer startled me. The Refuge is well maintained and the paths are free of roots and could accommodate a wheel chair."
"On a nice day it's a great place for a walk to see wildlife."
"Beautiful place to take a 2 or 3 mile walk. I enjoyed the white oak trail. The building (with restrooms) closes 4pm most days but the trails are open till dusk / sunset. Many people seem to just review the weirheim national wildlife Refuge on Google but these are pretty much the same place."
