"like I said.. access to my unit was a lot...on the outside it seemed there was one closer to my unit...however the persons I spoke to we're great...I just didn't know what questions to ask..re: better access to my unit"
"STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORAGE FACILITY!!! After paying for storage ($218+ monthly) for my household items for over 4 years, I finally decided to empty the unit. 3/4 of my personal items were completely destroyed by water damage (hole in ceiling directly above my unit. I was hysterical clearing out my unit, especially when I found irreplaceable framed portraits of my son and family so damaged they were unrecognizable. My electronics were also covered in mold and rust. Out of a 10x10 unit i have paid for over 4 years, I was able to salvage maybe 1/4 of my items. The insurance I had on the unit only covers up to $5,000. The value of my items that were destroyed was well over $13,000. I'll include some photos to give you an idea of what I lost. I filed the claim in office with Kyle on the same day, almost a month ago and have yet to receive any phone call or letter or anything from the corporate office. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Please note that the items in the fourth picture, which was in the hallway, was everything that was destroyed with the water. The first photo showed the whole in the ceiling above my unit where the water came in and destroyed everything."
"don't trust the advertisement of 50% off that is a lie it's only for 2 months not five like advertised. Before I signed up at Shirley StorQuest , I called and they stated I will get a 50% discount for 5 months now is only been 3 months and they are charging me full price. Now I have to hire moving men to move myself out of that location because I originally wanted to store my stuff in the 24-hour location but because of the discount I decided to go with storquest. Also during my first month of moving in the elevator broke down. Instead of being considerate and letting me store my stuff in a unit overnight since the elevator was only supposed to be broken till the next day they made me pay for a whole another unit. Then what's the elevator was fixed the next day I had to go through a lot of arguing finally the district manager was considerate enough to give me a credit for the second unit I had to rent because the elevator was broken. But mind you I never got full credit for what I paid for that second unit. Now here we are in the third month and I'm being charged full price how can I trust them if they can't be honest about their policies not a good place to store your stuff dingy elevator breaks and don't keep to their word."
"The staff that work there are amazing. The corporate office will raise your rates 50% each year. Nothing to speak of regarding Upgrades. It is not climate controlled. Mice everywhere. I’ve paid on time every month and every couple of months and every year like clockwork they try to raise the rent 20-50%. They say oh we are sorry and say we aren’t raising rates. Then the the next month you get another increase. The old owners were amazing. This is plain and simple corporate greed. During Covid a 20% increase. If I could give - negative stars I would."
