"We elected to have my brother's grave marker customized by this establishment. We were assisted by Diane. It took longer than expected to receive his stone but seeing it in person today was truly worth the wait. It brought tears to my eyes as well as my mother's. Diane kept me abreast of where we were in the installation process. All emails were responded to promptly. His headstone truly came out beautifully."
"My father passed away early on Thanksgiving morning 2021 after a long and heart-wrenching 12 year battle with Alzheimer’s. Anybody who has traveled that road knows all too well the toll that it takes on the body, mind & spirit of the caretaker who loves them unconditionally, as well as the loved ones in the family navigating beside them. As many of us know, when that journey comes to an end, the “firsts” begin. Well, today was one of those very difficult firsts for our family. We went to Holy Family Monuments to view my father's headstone for the first time today and had the pleasure of working with Diane. There are very few businesses now a days where you are treated as if you’re family when you walk in. Our experience at Holy Family Monuments today was exactly that. From the family owned atmosphere, to the initial warm greeting we received from Diane, this was a sacred moment to us all and it was treated as such. As we gathered around my father’s headstone, we began to cry. Diane was so respectful of giving us the time and space we needed to simply take that moment in and never rushed us at any time. Moments later she came over to console us and to ensure my mom was pleased with my father’s headstone. Holy Family Monument did a magnificent job and it truly took our breath away! Seeing as I’m in a wheelchair, when we were done, an adorable, respectful & sweet young man came to open the gate up for us so that my husband could get me back to the car up a side ramp with ease. Side note, wanting to make it as easy as possible for us, Diane also gave us several options to help me get TO the stone (via my wheelchair) when we first began speaking of exiting the building. She let us choose which option would work best for us and was eager to help in any way she could. Given the circumstances we were there under, our experience was one that felt very personalized & one that made this very difficult “first” as sacred & comforting as possible. As we began to say goodbye, Diane turned to my mother with open arms and they embraced. If I was not immunocompromised, I would have embraced her as well. Sadly, since COVID, that is something I refrain from doing out of medical necessity. However, Diane looked over at me with compassionate eyes as I gestured an “air hug” and we smiled. I left there with a peace in my heart knowing with certainty that God & my Dad had a hand in leading my mom to Holy Family Monuments…and were present with us today sharing in the profound grief of this “first”. Thank you, Diane! God bless"
"Diane and I shared a very long road after the passing of my loved one. We started off great as she is very empathetic genuine and kind. The wait was longer than I hoped and it caused me to be frustrated. Diane stayed positive and took the time to explain to me the details to this crazy process which help me feel at ease. After realizing how many other grieving people were also waiting it helped me with my own impatience. I highly recommend working with Diane and Holy Monuments. You may not always like what you hear but you will not be alone in the process. Thank you, Diane in a time I needed someone."
"We Need to appreciated the hours, dedication, the constant reaching out to families EVERY single day from Holy family Monuments as well as other monument companies that are working with less than 5 staff members since this Pandemic started. I have learned that Monument Co. as well as Cemeteries have never seen or dealt with the high demand for grave markers (materials needed from overseas) and the importance of having a grave. I sympathized with everyone grieve, but it is no excuse for adults to be rude and disrespectful toward these businesses that have been there for over 20yrs. If I am paying for high quality product I don't care how long it takes especially during this Pandemic for my headstone to be placed. You don't like a business then take your business some place else."
