"Paid for a service for my youngest brother just months after burying my father in same cemetery. Pay to open a grave for my dad, pay for a permit to have his marker engraved. They have not even planted grass seed yet. For my brother. Pay for niche, pay for service. The deacon spoke so fast it was so sad and undignified. No one to offer direction. We felt as if we were an afterthought in a time of such sadness there was absolutely no compassion or dignity in this service. Shame on a catholic organization. This is what my father and his child get after my father was a Deacon with three parishes on Long Island. Felt as if it was a money grab every step of the way."
"I miss him"
"Today 5/24/24 I went to the cemetery to plant grave sites for my loved ones. I get to my car and try to start it. Battery was dead. I called the cemetery office. A nice lady who was very concerned for me dispatched a gentleman named Edward. He came with a big smile on his face and told me not to worry. He then proceeded to take.care of the car for me. Between the woman on the phone and Edward the worker they were so helpful and accommodating to me. I was so happy I was in the right place for this to happen. Edward and I thanked God for the car starting and thanked God for the beautiful day. Thank you to the woman on.the phone and Edward for my little dilemma. St. Charles Cemetery is so kind and sweet."
