"This area will definitely be on my top places to go sit, walk and just simply relax. You have the perfect view of the verrazano bridge few miles of walking and biking path right on the water along the hudson river. You'll see cruises, ferries personal boats pass by. Perfect area to come after a long day, to read a book, listen to music or just simply clear your head. If your driving it's east bound on the belt parkway right before exit 2. Parking is limited however it's free. Only downside atleast from where I was and areas I walked I didn't see any restrooms, or playground is not a park so is understandable. But definitely worth visiting I enjoyed my time there."

"Nice park to get a good view of the Verrazzano bridge with a height of almost 700 feet and a clearance of 230 feet below, finished in 1964. The planners did not include a pedestrian walkway because they thought it would be too expensive and also because they thought a pedestrian walkway would encourage suicides....."

"Bay Ridge Promenade extends for 2-miles up to Owl Head Pier. It's used for sightseeing but more so for exercise buffs. As you can see, the bike lane is separated from the walking path to prevent unnecessary collisions. If you drive with the top down or via motorcycle, the view is just dreamy. You can find parking on the eastbound lane going towards JFK airport. I love the way the bridge laminates over the water at night."
