"Does anyone evaluate people who work in this office? We have a telephone appointment at 11:15 am they have never called us. We brought all the required papers for Medicare application in February 2024, the application was denied due to the office employee not scanning the document, we brought all the documents 2 more times… 3 months later nothing is done, except the appointment the employees of this office have missed. My advice, please, go to any other social security office in the area. Here it’s only negligence."

"I arrive there at 9:10am already a long line inside. At the door a lovely security guard ask me why I was there for I told him name change due to marriage he gives me a piece of paper and explain to me that the office in downtown is the only office in Brooklyn that’s right the only office in Brooklyn that handles with name change. The security guard was very pleasant helpful but I wish this type of information was available online so people don’t waste their time. And are able to go to the right place the first time and not make multiple trips. Do better social security administration! Not cool."

"After multiple times trying to get ss card replacement online and being blocked, I tried to call as was suggested. I was pleased on hold for 3 hours after announcement that waiting time is 20 min. Never had a chance to talk to anyone. They simply ignore telephone calls."
