Welcome to Iqra Masjid Community & Tradition

Located at 2483 65th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11204, Iqra Masjid Community & Tradition has been a cornerstone of spiritual enrichment and community service in Brooklyn since 1996. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to offer a welcoming space for worship, learning, and community engagement.

Our masjid, established by international scholars and community members, is a vibrant hub where people from around the world come together for daily prayers, Quranic studies, and various religious services—all free of charge. Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to finally own our building after years of financial struggle. However, we are currently facing a significant debt of over a million US dollars.

We humbly appeal to your generosity. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to clearing this debt and securing the future of our beloved mosque. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم said: “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest for Allah or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” [Sunan Ibn Majah 738]
