"I was lucky to have the park open on Sunday (especially that it is impossible to find out its expected open hours online). Boardwalk and trees/bushes surrounding it are beautiful and look well-cared. Nice view of the basin. I can understand why visit hours restrictions are in place since there were clear signs of vandalism (burnt bench and boardwalk under it)."

"Not the most spectacular place but an interesting piece of local history for lots of reasons. Worth a trip. It has a wood boardwalk so it's an easy hike if that's your thing."
"Nice park with wooden boardwalk type path to explore wetland area with very biodiverse plants, good chance to see birds, butterflies etc. Volunteered a few times to help cut back the invasive plants in deeper areas. Park is only open like Thurs-Fri-Sat till 2:30 Protip: if you have a scooter with bigger wheels, the path has a mild slope, its like riding a wooden rollercoaster"
