"I have been a partner with Reflections Church since 2011 when I moved back to New York to care for my mom who was battling stage 4 colon cancer. Prior to the permanent move to NY it was the ministry that I would visit with when in town. Living in Long Island many people ask me why do I pass by all the churches between my house and Brooklyn every week and I tell them that the Word of God is strong and rich and has been enriching my life and blessing me and my family through my service and partnership with Reflections Church. Now I pass all of NJ as I've moved to Philly and still this is my church home I cannot leave and where I love to serve. Pastor Straker has been a true Pastor. I am thankful to God who puts it in his heart to deliver a powerful Word every week. And thankful for his dedication to prayer and his example of and passion for the members to seek God and the Lord's righteousness daily. There is truly a healing and Word in the ministry. The fellowship and spiritual family I have gained, from day one, has been authentic and caring. When a good number of members came out with Pastor Straker to my house in Long Island from Brooklyn one Sunday to pray for my mom who was battling a life threatening obstruction, and this was early on in me just visiting the church and not yet a member, I knew that this was going to be my church home. The prayers truly provided my mom healing and extended her life. Personally and spiritually, I've grown so much in my understanding of the Word and my walk with God and it has been great and fulfilling to do so alongside believers who truly desire to serve God and seek the loss for Him."

From the moment you walk into the door you get genuine warm greetings from everyone and you feel the spirit of God around you. Pastor Straker is an amazing man of God who preaches the Word of God ONLY! "I first visited in 2019 and I was warmly welcomed by the Hospitality team. I enjoy the praise and worship and the messages from the sermons have helped me on my spiritual journey, especially while we were on lockdown for the pandemic. I officially joined as a member in 2022 and I was not pressured. The new members group I was a part of really felt like a community. Questions about God’s word were always welcomed and I never felt belittled by my leader or anyone else in the group. I know God has led me here and I plan to stay as long as God intends for me to be here. Before visiting, I prayed about having a genuine relationship with God because I always perceived Him through my parent’s eyes. Shortly after, I was lead here by a dear friend of mine and I haven’t regretted my visit since.
