Reviews
"WHY was the name of this church changed and by whom?? THIS IS Flatbush Reformed Dutch Church & Cemetery! Certain "people" just can't leave anything alone!"
"A beautiful historic Dutch Reformed Church with cemetery. Repairs are done so can’t wait to revisit when it is open"
"I am from Canada but some of my ancestors were New York Dutch who settled "Vlacke bos" later called Flatbush by the English. I would love to visit this church and see if any of my ancestors are buried there."
"I have never been to this church but according to my uncle who is a historian my 13th grandmother and grandfather are buried in the graveyard on the grounds of this church. They were early Dutch settlers who lived in the village of "Vlacke bos". The English renamed it Flatbush. I live in Canada but sincerely hope to visit this church one day and pay homage to my kin."
"Beautiful church, always loved passing it as a little girl holding on tight to my Mom's hand. I am more than happy to see such loving clergy and members are keeping it busy and so full of love. I miss Brooklyn and love it dearly. But I love my little country town in the middle of North Carolina. Blessings to all! DEAREST LORD, PLEASE BLESS US ALL& KEEP US SAFE. Oh, also PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE US ALL SEE YOUR TRUTH: THAT WE ARE ALL EQUAL AND YOU LOVE US ALL. THE COLOR OF OUR SKIN, THE RELIGION WE FOLLOW (or not) IT MATTERS NOT AT ALL"
