"Beautiful church by architect Thomas Henry Poole (1860-1919) in English Gothic style, modeled after the cathedral in Durham. It was constructed between 1911 and 1915. The parish was founded in 1889 by German immigrant families and was named after Emperor Henry II of the Holy Roman Empire. Initially German was the language spoken at services."

"Absolutely gorgeous church! Extremely well maintained. The stained glass windows are newer than the church building but are tastefully designed to complement the architectural design. The statuary is impressive as well."
